As we approach the final days of February, our web site is beginning to take shape. Are there bumps and bruises? Of course there are. De we get everything right on the first or second attempt? Of course not. We could have hired a web page guru and had a site up and running in short order, but for a price. To save that price, the Historical Society board decided to created our website inhouse.
Creating the site has been a learning process. I have created an account with a server to host the site, provide a domain name, and provide some guidance as I learn the processes. The pathways and hyperlinks don't always function as envisioned and complete pages seem to disappear. However, progress is being made and the home page and maybe the blog are becoming a reality. I ask that y'all bear with us as we navigate this fragile, at least to me, process.
